Job summary

The University of Cincinnati Foundation is seeking a Development Program Manager for Central Programs to provide operational and administrative support to the Corporate and Foundation Relations cohort. This role coordinates proposals, deadlines, and funder communications, working with UC, UC Health, and CFR teams to advance scholarly initiatives.

The position offers an hourly, non-exempt schedule, with a starting wage range of $24.00–$27.50 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and 1-3 years of administrative support experience or the equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Proven ability to handle, update, and maintain sensitive information in a confidential, timely, and professional manner.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail; excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact in a courteous, positive, professional, and timely manner with diverse internal and external constituents and foster strong, productive relationships.
  • Proficiency in Adobe, Microsoft Office and information systems databases.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively to meet multiple competing deadlines.
  • A commitment to and passion for the role of development in advancing the mission of the University of Cincinnati.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support, including calendar management, travel planning, submitting support tickets and expense reports for CFR teams.
  • Meet with teams and team leads to review, track, and share information and prioritize programmatic, project, and operational needs and deliverables.
  • Support coordination of scheduling, meetings, travel, and expense reports.
  • Responsible for tracking deadlines and deliverables for grants and submissions.
  • Support the preparation of funding proposals, letters of intent, cover letters, and cases for support.
  • Assist in researching and identification of potential grant funding sources and corporate partnerships to support the priorities and needs of UC and UC Health.
  • Conduct a monthly nongovernment research review of foundations and charities whose funds go through UC’s Office of Research. Draft biweekly RFP newsletter.
  • Track and assist in the preparation of post-award reports. Support Foundation Relations team in tracking foundation reports coming due.
  • Maintain current versions of critical documents required for grant submissions, namely all organizational attachments.
  • Support the stewardship and donor engagement activities meant to engage corporate and foundation donors.
  • Correspond with UC and UC Health faculty and staff regarding information required for applications and submissions.
  • Maintain a central file structure for the Central Programs team and coordinate with other administrative staff.
