Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public/business administration, accounting, finance or related field with two years grants experience in at least two areas.
• OR high school diploma with four years grants experience in at least two areas; OR one year of Grants & Projects Analyst I experience in Nevada State service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare grant applications and secure federal funding for state programs.
• Evaluate subgrants for eligibility and approval recommendations.
• Monitor compliance with federal, state and local regulations and provide guidance.
• Develop and implement grant program plans within guidelines to maximize services.
• Provide technical assistance and training to grant recipients on operations and reporting.
• Compile data and prepare performance reports on program activities and funding sources.
• Inspect subgrantee operations and suggest program improvements.
• Participate in compliance monitoring activities and audits.
