Job summary

Town of Fort Myers Beach is seeking a detail-driven Grants Manager to administer a portfolio of federal, state, and county grant-funded projects. The role covers the full grant lifecycle from opportunity identification through implementation, reimbursement, and closeout, ensuring compliance with 2 CFR 200, HUD, CDBG, and FEMA programs.

The ideal candidate will coordinate with department directors, manage schedules and budgets, and support audit-ready documentation across multi-agency funding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Construction Management, or a closely related field is required.
• Minimum of three years of experience with grant agencies and/or implementing grant programs in government is preferred.
• Experience with HUD CDBG, CDBG-DR, or FEMA programs is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Researches and monitors funding opportunities and disseminates them to departments.
• Assists in preparing grant applications, including budgets and supporting documentation.
• Coordinates with departments and grant consultants on complex applications.
• Prepares scopes of work, timelines, and budgets for grant agreements.
• Monitors compliance with 2 CFR 200 and grant terms throughout execution.
• Submits reports to Finance Director, Grants Accountant, and funding agencies.
