Job summary

Mary’s Pence seeks a dedicated leader to direct the Grants Program, overseeing strategy, growth, evaluation, and biannual application processes. You’ll manage grantee relationships and provide capacity building while coordinating communications with donors and the broader Mary’s Pence community.

You will work closely with the Executive Director, the Development and Communications Manager, and the Grants Committee to advance social justice funding across the U.S., Canada, Central America and

Qualifications

• Experience in a nonprofit management or program role.
• Experience or exposure to multiple aspects of managing small nonprofits (program, fundraising, administration, board membership, partnership cultivation).
• Ability to connect with and support grantees, including assessing their needs and providing coaching.

Responsibilities

• Oversee strategic direction, growth, evaluation and management of the Grants program.
• Manage twice-yearly application and selection process and communications with grantees.
• Develop grantee convenings and capacity-building opportunities.
• Identify visibility opportunities for grantees with donors and in local events and conferences.
• Coordinate with Executive Director and Grants Committee to ensure program success.
