Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a Grants Administrator to coordinate pre-award planning, organization, and post-award administration for multiple research and clinical departments.

You will interact with investigators and staff to ensure grants comply with sponsor terms, MCW policies, and federal regulations, and you will guide investigators in identifying and developing grant opportunities. The role requires strong writing, analysis, and administrative skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; experience may substitute on an equivalent basis.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in grants administration or related area.
  • Strong writing, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation, negotiation, and administration of grants, contracts, and research proposals.
  • Assist with pre-award applications.
  • Coordinate grant process from development to post-award.
  • Ensure compliance with sponsor terms, MCW policies and federal regulations.
  • Identify funding sources and administer grant budgets.
  • Consolidate information to meet application document requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with grant guidelines, budgets, and stipulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
