Job summary

Wellspring Philanthropic Fund in New York City seeks a Grants Management Associate to support a subset of program areas under the Deputy Director of Grants Management. The associate serves as a frontline administrator ensuring data accuracy and adherence to Wellspring’s internal guidelines.

Key duties include entering grant data in the grants management system, reviewing applications for completeness and compliance (including international grants and OFAC rules), coordinating with program staff,

Qualifications

• College degree or relevant nonprofit experience, preferably grants focus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for diverse partners.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Frontline grants management for a subset of grants and data in the system.
• Verify grant entries for purpose, amount, and payment dates.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and Wellspring guidelines.
• Invite applications and coordinate with program staff on planning.
• Prepare reports on grantmaking activity and due diligence findings.
• Support training and process improvements within Grants Management.
