Job summary

Wellspring Philanthropic Fund in Washington, DC is seeking a Grants Management Associate to support the grants lifecycle, monitor compliance, and coordinate with program staff. The Associate reports to the DC Director of Grants Management and will be a frontline provider of grants management, managing documentation and due diligence for a subset of grants.

Candidates should have at least three years in nonprofit grants management, strong communication, and knowledge of IRS regulations;

Qualifications

• College degree or relevant nonprofit experience.
• Minimum three years in grants management.
• Knowledge of IRS grantmaking regulations.
• Experience with international grants and OFAC compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee grants management lifecycle for a subset of grants.
• Verify grant entries and financial details in database.
• Ensure compliance with legal and internal guidelines (domestic/international).
• Coordinate with program staff on grant and budget planning.
• Prepare reports on grantmaking activity and outcomes.
