Job summary

University of Pennsylvania, Perelman School of Medicine, is seeking a Grants Manager A/B to manage pre-award activities and budgets for a diverse sponsor portfolio. The role includes proposal development, post-award support, and ensuring sponsor guidelines are followed.

The GM will work with principal investigators, maintain salary grids, and participate in annual budget submissions. A strong background in NIH grants and Uniform Guidance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with NIH and other federal granting agencies is required.
• Proficiency in Excel, Adobe, and Business Objects.
• Familiarity with Penn Sponsored Research policies and Uniform Guidance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-award activities, proposal submissions and budget development.
• Monitor sponsored project expenditures and assist with effort reports.
• Ensure compliance with sponsor guidelines and OMB Uniform Guidance.
