Join a forward-thinking company as a Base Grants Manager, where your expertise will drive funding strategies and grant programs in the rapidly evolving crypto ecosystem. This role is pivotal in scaling and operationalizing grants, allowing you to engage with a vibrant community and collaborate across teams. With a commitment to innovation and decentralization, you'll be part of a mission to empower developers and users onchain. If you're passionate about crypto and have a strong background in finance, this is your chance to make a significant impact in an exciting industry.
Base is planning to bring a million developers and a billion users onchain. We need your help to make that happen.
We believe that the onchain platform is the most important builder platform since the internet (online). It should be open source, free to use, and globally accessible. To achieve this, we need all hands on deck, working together to scale in a secure, decentralized, and user-friendly way.
At Base, we live by our Stay Based values: doing the right thing, working hard, staying optimistic, prioritizing the team, and pushing creative boundaries—all while building the future of onchain. We value a Zone 3+ work ethic, embracing challenges, hard weeks, and personal tradeoffs to drive impact and innovation.
Base, incubated within Coinbase, plans to decentralize gradually, believing decentralization is key to a global, open crypto economy accessible to everyone.
Built on Optimism’s open-source OP Stack, we are the second Core Dev team working on it, ensuring it remains a public good, with some sequencer revenue funding public goods.
We are seeking a Base Grants Manager to help us allocate funding effectively within the ecosystem. You will be responsible for scaling and operationalizing all grant programs and managing their lifecycle.
