Job summary

Forvis Mazars US is seeking a Director of Grants Management Services to lead strategic initiatives and complex client engagements across the full grant lifecycle. You will guide practice leadership, business development, and operational excellence while mentoring teams to deliver value to public sector, healthcare, higher education, nonprofit, tribal, and other grant-funded clients.

The role requires extensive experience in federal and state grants, a strong understanding of Uniform Guidance,

Qualifications

• Minimum 10‑15 years of experience in grants management, grants administration, compliance, public sector consulting, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience overseeing complex federal and state grant programs.
• Strong understanding of Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200) and grant lifecycle management.
• Proven business development and client relationship management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the Grants Management Services practice and drive growth.
• Develop service offerings across the grants lifecycle and monitor industry trends for opportunities.
• Oversee engagements, budgets, staffing, and quality control for complex grants programs.
• Advise clients on federal regulations, grant compliance, internal controls, governance, and risk management.
• Lead internal training and talent development within the team.
