Job summary

Clemson University is seeking a seasoned financial administrator to manage all aspects of sponsored projects within the Clemson Experimental Classroom and College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences. The role supports faculty researchers and administrators through the full awards life cycle and serves as a liaison to GCA and OSP.

Salary ranges from 55,000 to 59,500 USD annually, with compensation determined by experience and university guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and experience in business, personnel, grant-in-aid or public administration.

Responsibilities

• Fiscal Support: monitor sponsored project finances and compliance; manage cost-share, budgets, amendments, and corrections.
• Sponsored Reporting: provide financial and budget information for sponsor reporting and certify cost share.
• Program Support and Compliance: communicate with PI(s), departmental personnel, college personnel, GCA and OSP; resolve journal and voucher errors.
• Project Administration: oversee budgets, cost sharing, subawards; approve in Workday for allowability and compliance.
• Project Setup/Close-out: interpret award terms, develop undated budgets, verify closeout expenditures.
