SDSU Research Foundation is seeking a Development Specialist to strengthen proposal development, budgeting, and sponsor compliance across Pre-Award activities. You will partner with faculty and staff to optimize submissions, manage timelines, and ensure alignment with university policies and sponsor guidelines.

The role emphasizes collaboration, budget discipline, and proactive support to secure essential funding for research and education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 year of related experience in research administration including pre- and post-award processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and revising proposal budgets.
• Advise faculty on sponsor submission procedures and timelines.
• Facilitate communications with funding agencies and university approvals.
• Support electronic submission of proposals and compliance items.
