Job summary

Wake Forest University’s Reynolda Campus in Winston-Salem seeks a grant writer and development specialist to research, draft, and manage proposals for Reynolda House and Reynolda Gardens, aligning fundraising strategies with institutional goals.

You will coordinate pre- and post-award activities, analyze data, prepare reports, and collaborate across departments to secure support from foundations, government, and corporate sponsors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 3–5 years of related experience.
• Proven grant writing success in humanities/non-profit sector.
• Experience with Federal grants preferred.
• Strong written communication and editing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and calendars.

Responsibilities

• Draft and edit proposals for Reynolda House and Reynolda Gardens.
• Coordinate pre-award and post-award activities and budgeting.
• Analyze data for surveys and reporting and support fundraising strategies.
• Prepare stewardship and final grant reports for sponsors.
• Collaborate across departments to compile data and ensure timelines.
