Job summary

Salary is $53,917.08 annually, with full benefits and monthly pay. The position is based in the Director’s Office, State Fire Marshal division, offering a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year or more of experience in accounting, budgeting, financial management, or related fields.
• One year or more of experience communicating with customers, vendors or external stakeholders.
• Florida Certified Contract Manager certification must be obtained within the first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Entry level grant and contract specialist responsibilities include composing, coordinating, managing, executing, tracking and monitoring contractual agreements.
• Reviewing required contract documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensuring terms and expenditures comply with statutes and policies, and processing invoices for payment.
