Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum 5 years grants administration experience
• Master’s degree preferred
• Experience in grants administration and contract negotiation beneficial
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills essential
• Ability to work in deadline-driven environment

Responsibilities

• Review grant applications, prepare submissions, and submit to funding agencies on behalf of MCW
• Negotiate terms and accept awards in coordination with the institution
• Interpret sponsor and institutional policies to ensure compliance
• Identify risks and resolve issues through proactive problem-solving
• Maintain high accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Communicate policy changes to departments and fostering collaboration
• Support investigators and research teams as a trusted resource
• Demonstrate ownership, reliability, and readiness for advancement
