Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Two to five years of accounting experience in higher education, government, nonprofit, or grant accounting.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Experience with Excel, including pivot tables, for financial analyses.

Responsibilities

• Monitor financial activity for federal, state, local, and private grants and contracts.
• Prepare and submit financial reports to sponsoring agencies.
• Establish and maintain grant accounts in Workday and track budgets.
• Reconcile grant accounts and monitor expenditures for compliance.
• Coordinate grant closeout and ensure allowable, allocable, and reasonable costs.
• Provide financial analysis and support to PIs and departments.
