Job summary

YMCA of Metro Atlanta seeks a Grants Compliance Analyst within the Financial Controls and Compliance division to support administration of federally and state-funded programs, including CACFP, SFSP, DFACS and Housing Authority. You will ensure program compliance and timely reporting to funders.

You will maintain accurate records, prepare renewal applications, review monthly reimbursement reports, and support audits and grant procurement aligned with policy requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, or 2+ years in accounting if using HS diploma.
• Ability to run reports and analyze data.
• Solid knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping, and office management practices.
• Strong organization, deadline management, and proactive problem solving.
• Excellent communication and minimal supervision capability.

Responsibilities

• Review and communicate updates and compliance requirements from government funding sources to staff and leadership.
• Maintain confidential records for federally and state-funded programs.
• Prepare and submit annual renewal applications for sponsorships and grants.
• Review and submit monthly reimbursement and claim reports (CACFP, SFSP, DFACS, Housing Authority, 21st Century, etc.).
• Monitor program invoices, reports, and reimbursement documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate and validate payroll requests tied to grant-funded positions and prepare supporting documentation.
• Support compliance reporting for state-funded Pre-K programs and shared-site partners.
• Assist audits and monitoring reviews; participate in corrective action processes and audits.
• Support procurement and bid review processes to align with grant policies.
• Perform ad hoc financial projects and scenario analyses.
