Job summary

The City of Raleigh North Carolina is seeking an experienced Compliance & Planning Administrator to oversee local and federally funded housing and community development programs. You will focus on federal grant compliance, HOME program monitoring, and the City’s Community Enhancement Grant program, ensuring responsible use of resources and alignment with HUD requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, city planning, public administration, real estate, or related field.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in program management, grant management, supervisory, or related field.
• Ability to analyze program and financial information and ensure compliance with federal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conducts programmatic and compliance monitoring of federally-funded activities and subrecipients, including reviewing records and following up on corrective actions.
• Administers and supports HOME program compliance and monitoring activities with project documentation and partner coordination.
• Manages the City's Community Enhancement Grant (CEG) program including evaluation, awards, contracting, and reporting.
• Analyzes program and financial information and prepares compliance documentation and recommendations.
• Maintains grant management systems, records, and workflows and develops procedures to improve compliance and operations.
• Collaborates with community partners and City staff to address compliance concerns and strengthen grant administration.
• Performs other duties as required.
