Job summary

State of Maryland is seeking a full-time grant administrator to manage multiple funding streams within the St. Mary’s RHTP unit. The role focuses on grant administration, fiscal monitoring, procurement support, reporting and compliance, with subrecipient tracking and coordination with internal staff.

The successful candidate will monitor expenses and contracts, ensure timely reporting, and support staff across the grants framework in a complex, multi-partner environment.

Qualifications

• Five years of grant evaluation and monitoring or budget preparation, presentation and execution.
• Bachelor's degree plus one year of related experience may substitute for the required experience.
• Graduate education in accounting, business, economics, finance, political science or public administration may substitute 30 credit hours.
• U.S. Armed Forces military service as a Budget Officer or related roles may substitute for the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide grant administration, fiscal monitoring and procurement support for multiple funding streams.
• Prepare grant reporting and ensure compliance management and subrecipient tracking.
• Monitor expenses, deliverables, contracts and documentation across programs.
• Coordinate reporting timelines with subrecipients and internal staff including fiscal and DCEP.
• Support staff involved in grants and ensure adherence to all requirements.
