Job summary

S:US is seeking a Grants Manager to oversee a portion of its grants and funded programs, reporting to the Director of Grants Administration. The role collaborates with fiscal, budgetary and program services teams to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.

This position supports budgeting, claims, renewals, and audits within a dynamic, mission-driven environment in New York City. Qualified candidates have a finance or accounting degree, 2+ years in grants management, audit experience, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
2+ years of grants management and/or public sector funding experience.
Experience undergoing and supervising audits.
Knowledge of methods and practices of grant & contract reporting, OMB requirements.
Excellent communication skills – ability to present financial data.
High level of attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel creating models and using advanced formulas.
Experience with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Grants Administration and Budgeting: prepare monthly, quarterly and annual claims and budgets, renewals and modifications.
Monitor contract budgets and program performance; maintain grants related balance sheet accounts.
Manage funding database and respond to audit requests under supervision.
Reporting and Analysis: analyze year-to-date financial performance and projections; ensure timely reports and provide commentary.
Assist with ERP implementation/upgrade and other duties as assigned.
