Job summary

Qualifications

• College degree required; accounting/finance preferred.
• 1–3+ years of government grant experience required.
• Experience with PeopleSoft or similar accounting systems preferred.
• Strong Excel and Word skills.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills; ability to work with diverse groups.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates pre- and post-award grant processes.
• Assists CFO with accounting functions and financial processes for grants.
• Writes and edits grant narratives and budgets.
• Reviews grants budgets and provides forecast reports.
• Develops the annual grants budget.
• Draws down grant funds and manages reimbursements.
• Liaises with external auditors during project reviews.
• Establishes financial controls for new grants/programs.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
