Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field with 5 years of relevant healthcare/university accounting experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
• Strong data management skills and proficiency with accounting systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Supports a large academic/research department and manages 100-110 accounts with about $20M in expenditures.
• Designs financial reports for department expenditures and provides cost analysis and recommendations.
• Supervises the business office and coordinates with the Assistant Director and Department Chair.
• Prepares special reports for budget forecasting, salary recovery, and end-of-year reports.
