University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) seeks a fiscal oversight professional to manage the Rural Health Professions (RHTP) program budgets, subawards, and compliance. The role requires overseeing grant finances, contract administration, and reporting to sponsors and university leadership.

Located on the Rockford campus, this on-site position offers benefits including health, dental, vision, retirement, and tuition waivers.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
• Two years of professional business, financial, and/or managerial work experience; Master’s may substitute for one year.
• One year additional experience in grants/contracts management, financial reporting, or accounting in higher education or federally funded environments.

Mansioni

• Provide day-to-day financial oversight of the RHTP grant and related awards.
• Develop, monitor, reconcile, and forecast grant budgets and expenditures.
• Monitor grant spending for variances or compliance concerns; recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare financial reports, projections, and analyses for leadership and funding agencies.
• Review expenditures for allowability, allocability, reasonableness, and compliance with regulations.
• Ensure compliance with sponsor requirements, University policies, and HRSA regulations.
• Manage subaward administration, including documentation, tracking, and monitoring.
• Track contract payment milestones and closeout activities.
• Coordinate with University offices, funding agencies, and partners on grant matters.
• Support audits, monitoring activities, and grant closeout processes.
• Develop systems for tracking budgets, contracts, subawards, invoices, and reporting deadlines.
