6 Stones Mission Network is seeking a Grants and Development Coordinator to support fundraising initiatives under the Chief Development Officer. You will research, write, and submit grants, manage donor engagement, and coordinate events to advance our mission.

The Grants and Development Coordinator is a full-time position working under the Chief Development Officer to support fundraising initiatives, donor engagement, and grant writing. This role manages the Coalition monthly donor program, researches and writes grant proposals, coordinates donor events, and helps build a culture of philanthropy across the organization.
We're looking for someone who is an excellent writer and communicator, relationship-focused with donors, highly organized and detail-oriented, and passionate about advancing our mission.
Research, develop, write, and submit program and strategic initiatives proposal grants
Track grant deadlines, requirements, and reporting obligations
Provide monthly grant updates to program directors and the executive team
Recognize problems early and make sound decisions promptly with appropriate input
Donor Stewardship & Engagement:
Manage Coalition monthly donor portfolio with a focus on stewardship and engagement
Keep Coalition informed through the monthly newsletter and communications
Complete donor follow-up and acknowledgement per Donor Acknowledgement Matrix
Execute follow-up strategies for donor events and engagement opportunities
Respond quickly to problems and situations; take independent action without prompting; go above and beyond job requirements
Support annual fundraising plan development and execution with CDO and Resource Development Committee
Support Donor events: Hungry for Hope, Behind the Scenes, Dashing for Hope, Volunteer Appreciation, and Catalyst Tours
Attend events on evenings/weekends as the calendar requires
Organizational Leadership:
Learn and clearly communicate 6 Stones' history, mission, and programs to external audiences
Model being a 6 Stones ambassador, building a culture of philanthropy across staff
Train staff in donor retention processes and activities
Create and meet quarterly SMART goals aligned with CDO and organizational objectives
Provide reports and agendas for staff, department, and committee meetings
Hold self and others to high standards, take ownership of outcomes, and be committed to producing excellent, error-free work.
Exceptional writing skills – crafts compelling grant proposals and donor communications
Donor relationship focus – builds authentic connections, practices excellent stewardship
Research proficiency – identifies grant opportunities, gathers program data

Mission-driven – passionate ambassador for transforming lives and communities

Systems proficiency – Bloomerang, Google Sheets/Excel, Asana (or willing to learn)
Grant writing, including training and certification
Donor relationships, including recurring giving and communication
Proficiency in Bloomerang, Instrumentl, and Asana software
Proficiency with Google Sheets/Excel, pivot tables, and reporting
Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Salary: $48,000-$65,000 annually, dependent on experience
Reports To: Chief Development Officer
Schedule: Full-time; occasional evenings/weekends for events
Location: 6 Stones office, Hurst-Euless-Bedford area
