Job summary

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience, with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. It is a full-time, on-site role with comprehensive benefits and a monthly pay basis.

Qualifications

• Education & experience: Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience; advanced degree may substitute.
• Ability to review budgets, costs, reporting requirements and sponsor guidelines.
• Strong knowledge of grants administration, accounting and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review award and contract documents to understand budgets and terms.
• Analyze post-award transactions for allowability and compliance.
• Identify discrepancies and communicate required corrections.
• Schedule quarterly budget/compliance review meetings with PIs and staff.
• Prepare monthly budget-to-actual reports for awards and advise on variances.
• Monitor fund transfers, journaling and indirect cost recovery.
• Maintain complete financial and compliance records for awards.
• Recommend improvements to monitoring and reporting processes.
• Provide guidance on compliance obligations and award setup.
