Mass General Brigham is seeking an experienced grant administrator to collaborate with Principal Investigators and Department Administrators to develop grant submissions and forecast budgets. Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Financial Management or related field is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Financial Management is preferred.
  • 1–2 years of research administration experience required.
  • Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, and accounting software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Process and prepare grant proposals, awards, and transactions, maintaining grant/contract records.
  • Assist with budgets, justifications, and materials for financial reporting.
  • Review proposals for sponsor compliance and ensure all sponsor requirements are met.
  • Process purchase orders and manage accounts receivable/payable; resolve accounting requests.
  • Serve as primary Pre-Award/Post-Award resource for department administrators and PIs.
  • Monitor expenditures and ensure budgetary compliance; advise on allowability of costs.
