Henry J Austin Health Center seeks a Grants Accountant I to support accurate accounting and reporting for federal, state, local, and private awards. You will ensure proper budgeting, charging, and closeouts in line with GAAP and award terms.

Key duties include preparing monthly grant reconciliations, reviewing invoices, maintaining SEFA/SESA schedules, and supporting audit processes. Strong Excel and GAAP knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of three years of accounting experience.
• Experience with GAAP and 2 CFR Part 200.

Responsabilités

• Prepare monthly grant reconciliations, journal entries, and analyses.
• Review grant-funded invoices and budgets for allowability and accuracy.
• Prepare grant reports, SEFA/SESA schedules, and closeout documentation.
• Maintain audit-ready files and assist with Single Audit requests.
• Reconcile grant payroll to budgets and time-and-effort records.
