Job summary

College Futures Foundation seeks a Program Associate (Temporary, Part-time) to support the Transfer to Completion grantmaking strategy in San Francisco. Up to 20 hours a week January–December 2018, reporting to the Vice President for Programs and working with the Senior Program Officer.

Responsibilities include due diligence, structuring and writing grant recommendations, reviewing concept papers, coordinating with grantees, drafting presentations, and helping finalize filings in Grants

Qualifications

• Experience in assessing grant proposals and budgets.
• Experience in higher education grantmaking preferred.
• Strong writing and analytic skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in due diligence, structuring and writing grant recommendations.
• Review concept papers and grant proposals.
• Input and organize proposals and reports in Grants management system.
• Coordinate with grantees to ensure timely papers and complete information.
• Draft grant recommendations with the senior program officer.
• File final recommendations for approval in grants system.
• Ensure outcomes are described and co-developed with evaluators.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations and internal/partner documents.
• Schedule meetings with grantees; support special projects.
