Job summary

MyndBridge is a workforce development organization translating classroom outcomes into funded programs. We seek a Grant Writer to research opportunities, craft compelling proposals, and manage government, foundation, and corporate submissions.

You will partner with the CEO and program leaders to align outcomes with funders’ needs and ensure audit-ready reporting. You will build budgets, write narrative proposals, and maintain a robust grants calendar.

Qualifications

• Proven grant-writing experience with a track record of securing awards.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills—clear, persuasive, evidence-based narratives.
• Experience with government and foundation grants, including budgets and compliance.
• Strong research skills and judgment to identify the right opportunities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Ability to translate programs and data into compelling narratives.

Responsibilities

• Find federal, state, city, foundation, and corporate funding opportunities aligned to our programs and populations.
• Maintain a prospect pipeline and grants calendar to track deadlines and submission windows.
• Assess fit and build a strong case for opportunities to pursue.
• Write clear, compelling proposals, letters of inquiry, and applications tailored to each funder.
• Manage the full submission process, including Grants.gov and NYS Grants Gateway.
• Develop proposal budgets and narratives with finance and program staff.
• Write interim and final grant reports translating outcomes into funder narratives.
• Coordinate renewals and keep funders engaged with timely reporting.
• Gather accurate outcomes and financial data with program and compliance teams.
