Qualifications

• Proven grant-writing experience with a track record of securing awards.
• Exceptional writing and editing to produce persuasive, evidence-based proposals.
• Experience with government and foundation grants, including budgets and compliance.
• Strong research skills and ability to identify opportunities.
• Excellent attention to detail and multi-deadline management.
• Ability to translate programs and data into compelling narratives.

Responsibilities

• Research federal, state, city, foundation and corporate funding opportunities.
• Maintain a grants pipeline and calendar with deadlines and submission windows.
• Write clear, compelling proposals, letters of inquiry, and applications.
• Manage the full submission process through Grants.gov and NYS Grants Gateway.
• Develop budgets and narratives in partnership with finance and program staff.
• Write interim and final grant reports translating outcomes into funder narratives.
• Coordinate with program staff to gather outcomes and data.
