Job summary

The College of Southern Idaho is seeking a Grant Writer for the Health Care Development Council to secure funding for health care projects aligned with CSI and St. Luke’s priorities. You will work with HCDC members, research opportunities, and prepare proposals and budgets ready for submission.

This role emphasizes independence, collaboration, and strict compliance with grant guidelines, with duties spanning idea generation, proposal development, and timely submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in identifying, applying for, and receiving grants.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent research, analysis, and reporting skills.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Seek and secure grant funding aligned with health priorities.
• Develop proposals, write grants, gather documentation, and submit on time.
• Maintain knowledge of CSI and St. Luke’s programs.
• Coordinate with HCDC and subject matter experts.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and agency guidelines.
• Maintain master file of pending and past grants.
