You will collaborate with leadership to secure funding and craft impact reports, newsletters, and social content to boost visibility and supporter engagement.

The role combines grant-writing excellence with strategic communications, local and national funder engagement, and coordination of marketing materials to advance organizational priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and five years of grant writing or nonprofit communications.
• Proven success securing grant funding.
• Experience with nonprofit human services or Head Start.
• Experience with donor management software and federal grants.

Responsibilities

• Research, identify, and pursue federal, state, local, corporate, and foundation funding opportunities.
• Write, submit, and manage competitive grant proposals, renewals, amendments, and reports.
• Coordinate with leadership and program teams to obtain data and supporting documentation.
• Maintain the organizational grant calendar and ensure timely submissions.
• Monitor grant compliance and funding outcomes.
• Write newsletters, annual reports, press releases, donor communications, website content, sponsorship proposals, and campaign materials.
• Assist with social media platform management and digital marketing initiatives.
• Ensure brand consistency across all communications.
• Support fundraising campaigns and special events.
