• 3–5 years of grant writing experience with a proven record of secured awards
• Exceptional writing skills; able to translate complex community development work into clear, outcome-driven narratives
• Experience with multi-year, six- and seven-figure proposals
• Familiarity with government grant applications and compliance preferred
• Strong organizational skills; manages multiple deadlines independently
• Comfortable working with budgets and program data
• Knowledge of the North Texas philanthropic landscape strongly preferred
• Experience in community development, housing, arts, or education a plus

Responsibilities

• Research, qualify, and maintain a pipeline of foundation, corporate, and public funding prospects
• Write and submit compelling proposals, LOIs, and applications on deadline
• Manage a grants calendar tracking deadlines, deliverables, and reporting obligations
• Prepare interim and final reports, partnering with program and finance staff on outcomes data and budgets
• Develop grant budgets and budget narratives with the finance team
• Support government grant applications and compliance requirements (municipal, state, federal)
• Maintain boilerplate language, program descriptions, and supporting documents
• Record grant activity and funder relationships in the organization's CRM
• Collaborate with the VP of Development and leadership on funder meetings, site visits, and stewardship
• Contribute to capital campaign materials and case statements as needed

This role secures foundation, corporate, and government support for operations, programs, and capital projects, and is central to sustaining long-term, multi-year community initiatives. Key Responsibilities
