Job summary

DH Leonard Consulting & Grant Writing Services, LLC seeks a Grant Strategist to increase clients' grant-seeking capacity and to produce competitive applications using our team processes and standards.

The role collaborates with the Lead Grant Strategist on client projects, writes proposals, coordinates attachments and budgets, researches funding opportunities, maintains client records, and communicates with clients and team members in a professional, ethical manner to advance nonprofit missions.

Qualifications

• 3 or more years of grant writing experience.
• Experience with government grants preferred.
• Grant Professional Certified or desire to be certified.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on a fast-paced interdisciplinary team.
• Excellent written, analytical, oral, organizational and time management skills.
• Experience working with diverse communities preferred.
• Commitment to DH Leonard Consulting & Grant Writing Services, LLC team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Lead Grant Strategist in the facilitation of the client projects.
• Write grant proposals following DH Leonard Consulting team processes and standards.
• Coordinate attachments for client applications.
• Coordinate budget attachments for client applications.
• Coordinate mock review processes for clients.
• Research grant funding opportunities for clients.
• Assist with maintaining client application records and team information.
• Communicate with clients and fellow team members following DH Leonard Consulting standards.
• Adhere to ethics of the Grant Professionals Association.
• Other duties as assigned.
