Job summary

The National Audubon Society in Roseville, MN, is seeking a Grant Specialist to provide pre- and post-award support, financial tracking, and grant compliance across multiple projects. Hybrid work is required, with in-office days on Monday and Tuesday and additional days each month. Candidates should reside within commuting distance of Roseville, MN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in grant management including budgeting, financial management, reporting and compliance.
• Knowledge of Uniform Guidance cost principles and non-profit regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to work across teams.

Responsibilities

• This position coordinates grant reimbursement requests, including receipt management and expenditure classification.
• Collaborates with program, development, and public funding staff to prepare grant proposals with budget accuracy.
• Monitors grant progress and advises on modifications or extensions as needed.
• Provides monthly grant status reports and analysis to Project Managers and VP.
• Supports invoicing, grant set-up, and close-out activities with finance and grants teams.
• Maintains grant files and ensures compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
