Job summary

California State University Dominguez Hills in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Research Development and Compliance Associate in the Office of Research Development and Compliance to promote research, scholarship, and creative activities across disciplines.

Under supervision, you will help identify funding opportunities, develop grant proposals, coordinate research compliance tasks, and support faculty and other key campus stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Support IRB and IACUC operations in collaboration with the Research Compliance Officer.
• Review required research training (e.g. Conflict of Interest, Research Security) and notify investigators of needed trainings;
• Establish and cultivate relationships with faculty, staff, and other key campus stakeholders to stay informed of current research and programmatic activities at CSUDH
• Administer internal grant competitions, including InfoReady design, launch, approval routing, and administrative review
• Review, edit, and format proposals for external funding
