Job summary

Calvert County Public Schools in Prince Frederick, Maryland, seeks a Supervisor of State and Federal Grant Programs and Child Care to provide leadership and oversight for Title I, Head Start, Judy Center, and ESSA-funded initiatives.

The role includes development, fiscal management, monitoring, and evaluation of grant programs, supervision of staff, collaboration with school-based administrators and central office leaders, and ensuring compliance and high-quality programming.

Qualifications

• Hold or be immediately eligible for a Maryland Administrator I endorsement.
• Hold a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood, Elementary Education or related field.
• Have at least five (5) years of successful teaching experience as a teacher.

Responsibilities

• Directs, applies for, implements, and monitors the Consolidated Local ESSA Grant Program, including Title I, and other assigned state and federally funded programs.
• Provides leadership and oversight for Title I programming, including school support, family engagement requirements, equitable services, budgeting, monitoring, and compliance with federal requirements.
• Provides leadership and oversight for assigned state and federally funded programs and the CCPS Child Care Program, including program planning, implementation, evaluation, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Supervises, supports, develops, and evaluates assigned staff, including Child Care Specialists and personnel within state and federally funded programs.
• Gathers, analyzes, and reports program data to support accountability, compliance monitoring, continuous improvement, and required reporting.
