Job summary

King County seeks a Grant Administrator to oversee the Steve Bleifuhs Memorial Flood Reduction and related grants. You will manage applications, reviews, awards, and post-award activities for a portfolio of 200+ grants, collaborating with finance and leadership.

The role blends remote and onsite work within a large, equity-focused watershed program. You will engage the public and awardees, ensuring compliance, timely decisions, and quality briefing materials for elected officials.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in successful grant management and knowledge of grant management principles.
• Experience managing projects, including scoping, scheduling, and budgets.
• Experience managing all financial aspects of grant programs, including reimbursement tracking and documentation.
• Strong writing skills for briefing documents and reports.
• Ability to work independently and manage a large portfolio of grants.
• Customer service approach and experience with diverse grant recipients.

Responsibilities

• Administer the grant program, planning and coordinating policies, criteria, and procedures.
• Assist applicants and monitor online grant submissions and reviews.
• Provide technical analysis of budgets, scopes of work, and deliverables.
• Coordinate contracts, payments, and online grant management activities.
