Job summary

The University of Louisville is seeking a Research Grants Specialist II to direct day-to-day operations of multiple large research projects, primarily in the Brown Cancer Center. This grant-funded role will end when funding ends and offers a salary commensurate with experience.

The position is in-person in Louisville, KY, with no relocation support. Key duties include project management, IRB submissions and reporting, fiduciary oversight, and dissemination of research outcomes via manuscripts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Experience with human research protocols and IRB processes preferred.
• Ability to manage grant budgets and coordinating with research teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of multiple studies and timelines.
• Prepare IRB submissions, amendments, continuing reviews, and reports.
• Manage fiduciary tasks: purchasing, ProCard, participant incentives.
• Coordinate recruitment, data collection, and liaison with clinical partners.
• Disseminate findings through manuscripts, PowerPoints, and abstracts.
