Job Description

The Grant Manager is the primary administrator for the Antiterrorism and Emergency Assistance Program (AEAP) grant awarded to the State of Maine by the U.S. Department of Justice to address the ongoing response to the October 2023 mass violence incident in Lewiston, Maine. Work includes: managing programmatic and financial management of subgrants; ensuring that the award administration compliances with federal grant requirements and state and federal law; development and implementation of internal grant management policies and procedures; provides technical assistance and training to subgrantees; and prepares programmatic and financial reports in collaboration with finance and accounting staff.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and two years of experience in grant management, accounting, finance and/or grant compliance.

Preferred:

· Five years of experience in grant management, accounting, finance, and/or grant compliance

· Knowledge of crime victim advocacy, victim services, mass violence and/or criminal justice.
