Grant Manager

Lower Kuskokwim School District (AK) District Office - Bethel, Alaska

Responsibilities

• Prepares grant report forms and other grant requirements in final submittal form.
• Responsible for implementation of grant proposals.
• Disseminates necessary information to all relevant district personnel concerning grant program management.
• Submits all required reports to appropriate district personnel and outside agencies in a timely manner.
• Prepares for and represents the district in audit and compliance reviews for programs under departmental jurisdiction.
• Assists in seeking funds in order to sustain programs once funding stops.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least three years of demonstrated successful experience in grant management or program maintenance required.
• Demonstrated ability to write in a clear and concise manner.
• Knowledge of Federal and State regulations pertaining to a wide variety of grant applications.
• Demonstrated background in the development and administration of program budgets.
• Willingness to travel to remote locations.
• Ability to live and work in a cross‑cultural, rural Alaskan environment.
• Ability to successfully carry out the duties described below.
