Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Manager to lead the post-award grant accounting function and mentor a team managing 400+ active grants. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, tribal, and grantor regulations while overseeing reporting, reconciliations, and closeouts.

You will develop dashboards, partner with leadership and auditors, and drive process improvements as the organization modernizes its financial systems. A four-day workweek option is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Several years of grant accounting experience with a strong focus on post-award administration.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong understanding of grant compliance, financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliations.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Process-improvement mindset with the ability to lead organizational change.
  • Mentoring and developing others.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the organization's post-award grant accounting function.

  • Train and develop newer accounting staff while fostering a collaborative team environment.

What We're Looking For

Preferred:


  • Governmental, nonprofit, tribal, healthcare, or higher education grant experience

  • Experience with grant nonprofit accounting systems
