Responsibilities

• Assist with proposal development process for sponsored project proposals developing budgets and budget justifications, ensuring applications are complete and accurate prior to submission.
• Advise investigators on pre-award administration and proposal development, including interpretation of granting agency policies and regulations.
• Prepare standard forms, enter grant information, and upload materials to submission portals (ASSIST, Grants.gov, etc.), ensuring approvals are complete at submission.
• Assist investigators in responding to sponsor requests at just-in-time stage; review and process incoming awards to ensure a seamless Pre-Award to Grant Accounting workflow.
• Advise investigators on sponsor requirements and deadlines for progress reports, carryforward, prior approvals, and no-cost extensions; coordinate with sponsor agencies.
