Job summary

University of Texas at Austin's Dell Medical School seeks a Senior Research Program Coordinator to support diverse non-clinical research efforts. You will manage day-to-day operations of multiple projects, maintain data quality, and ensure regulatory compliance across labs and sponsors.

Reporting to a PI, Lab Director, or Research Manager, you will develop project plans, track milestones, prepare reports and grant materials, and coordinate communication with investigators and external partners.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's Degree in a related field with at least 5 year(s) of experience in research coordination, laboratory operations, or academic research administration.
• Preferred: Master's Degree with 6+ years in a research-intensive setting and CRA/CITI certifications.
• Experience leading process improvements and coordinating cross-functional teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates day-to-day operations of complex research projects or laboratories.
• Develops and maintains detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables with investigators.
• Tracks milestones and supports risk mitigation; prepares agendas and records actions.
• Manages data collection, entry, quality control, and regulatory compliance across studies.
• Prepares data summaries, reports, and supports manuscript development.
