Job summary

The Judicial Council of California seeks a Senior Analyst (Limited Term) in the Criminal Justice Services office to lead statewide NCHIP grant activities and liaise with the California DOJ, courts, and justice system partners. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in political science, public administration, statistics, mathematics, or related field.
• Master’s degree with demonstrated qualitative and quantitative research experience.
• Substitution of education for experience is allowed per policy.

Responsibilities

• Lead statewide activities for the National Criminal History Improvement Program (NCHIP 31) grant.
• Serve as a key liaison with the California DOJ, superior courts, and justice system partners.
• Manage complex grant projects, oversee activities, and provide policy analysis and recommendations.
• Provide technical assistance to courts and stakeholders to improve criminal history records.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher in political science/public administration/statistics/mathematics

Master’s degree in related field with qualitative and quantitative research
