Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker preferred
• School Social Worker License eligible

Responsibilities

• Complete sociocultural assessments and adaptive behavior scales reflecting referred students' developmental delays and learning challenges
• Assist parents in accessing community resources through calls, home visits, and meetings
• Link families to community resources and coordinate needed support including mental health services
• Attend Family Assessment and Planning Team meetings and provide case management for students with funded services
• Advocate for student and family involvement in the academic process and support services
• Submit reports to the Director of Student Services and Director of Special Education promptly
• Provide full range of social work services to schools per regulations
• Determine school-wide needs and prioritize service delivery in assigned schools
