• Assist McKinney-Vento students with resource connections and barrier removal to education.
• Address attendance/truancy issues and engage parents to improve student attendance.
• Use evidence-informed practices to design interventions involving students, families, school personnel, and community resources.
• Provide crisis intervention services related to family violence, substance abuse, and behavioral disorders.
• Advocate for equal access to education and services; conduct assessments per rights.
• Develop short- and long-term intervention plans aligned with curriculum and student needs.
• Serve on MTSS teams with SBMH providers and offer evidence-based interventions.
• Promote family involvement in learning within multicultural contexts.
• Help students and families access community resources.
• Collaborate with SBMH Therapists to address barriers and gaps.
• Work with internal/external partners to enhance health, social, emotional well-being, and safety.
