Job summary

Broadway Community in New York City is seeking a full-time psychotherapist for a grant-funded, in-person position. You will provide individual psychotherapy, perform psychiatric evaluations for housing applications, and lead clinical support groups within a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, collaboration with on-site medical services, and intake assessments with ongoing outcomes tracking across six-month care episodes.

Qualifications

• Licensed in NY as LCSW, psychologist or LMHC.
• Experience with homelessness and low-barrier community settings.
• Experience facilitating clinical or psychoeducational groups.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual psychotherapy to adults.
• Complete psychiatric evaluations for housing applications and coordinate care with external psychiatrists.
• Design and co-facilitate support groups; track attendance and outcomes.
• Conduct intake assessments and administer standardized screening tools; contribute to program reviews.
