Job summary

Reno Municipal Court is seeking a part-time Clinical Director for its Specialty Courts. The role focuses on advanced behavioral health assessment, diagnostic formulation, and treatment consultation to guide judicial decision-making and participant engagement.

The position is grant-funded for 12 months and requires a Master’s degree in a related field, state licensure, and 5+ years of post-licensure experience. Responsibilities include MDT participation and education of court personnel.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of progressively responsible post-licensure clinical experience.
• Experience with justice-involved populations, specialty courts, forensic behavioral health, and co-occurring disorders is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments using DSM-5-TR criteria.
• Provide clinical recommendations aligned with ASAM, RNR, and recovery-oriented practices.
• Collaborate with judges, case managers, and providers to support participant outcomes.
