Job summary

Bay Path is seeking a Part-time Academic Advisor (Grant Funded) to support undergraduate student success at its Longmeadow, MA campus. The role is hybrid, 25 hours per week, with the grant ending June 30, 2027.

You will provide advising, help students develop degree plans, and guide them through course selections and campus resources. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree (Master’s preferred) and have strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, with experience supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to adhere to FERPA and HIPAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide developmental advising for a caseload of students from enrollment to graduation.
• Engage in purposeful discussions to learn about course performance and goals.
• Assist students with major exploration and degree planning.
• Coordinate outreach interventions for at risk students to support retention.
• Monitor progress and follow up on warnings, probations and holds.
• Present at prospective student events and maintain documentation of interactions.
